There are many laws in US, which protect consumers and companies are forced to recall the products and the material which is deemed as hazardous. There are many products and items which are felt not fit to be used by large number of people and are recalled from the market. The trend is not limited to smaller companies. Company like Nokia also had problems with its phone and battery and it had to recall the products at mass levels. There are many cases of vehicles being recalled. A company may incur some losses due to recalled products. It has to fix the problem and in many cases it has to arrange refunds as well at very large levels.
